The ABC’s of Halloween

Next on our list of spooky season sensory bins is the ABC’s of Halloween ! We used magnetic letters, numbers, and a magnet to get familiar with our ABC’s.

What you’ll need

• A bin

• Shredded paper

• Magnetic letters and numbers

• A magnet

• 2 containers

Start by adding shredded paper to the bottom of your bin. Add your magnetic letters and numbers to the bin along with a magnet. Add two containers to your bin. Allow your child to use the magnet to pick up the magnetic number and letters

Learning activities

• Have your child sort letters into one container and numbers into the other

• Ask your child to give you a certain letter

• Sound out the letters

• Sort the letters and numbers by colors
