Foam Search Sensory Bin
This week for touch it Tuesday we are doing a foam search ! We used foam balls and covered them with shaving cream to find the balls. This a great sensory bin for teaching colors and to improve motor skills with the tweezer.
What you’ll need
A bin
Foam balls
Shaving cream
A small bowl
Tweezers
Start by adding foam balls to your bin. Then spray shaving cream over the balls until they are hidden. Add a small bowl for collecting the balls with tweezers. Allow your child to search the bowl for the different colored foam balls.
Alternatives:
Add edible items to the bin such as fruit loops and whip cream so they are able to enjoy how it tastes as well.
Come back next week for the next touch it Tuesday bin!
