Fall Leaves Sorting Bin

Next on our list of fall sensory bin is a fall leaves sorting sensory bin. This is a great way to build on color recognition and build fine motor skills.

What you’ll need:

  • Colored bowls

  • Tweezers

  • faux fall leaves

Start by adding the faux leaves to your bin. Add in your different colored bowls that correspond with the color of the leaves. Add a tweezer to allow your child to sort through the leaves.

Activities

  • have your child sort the leaves into different color bowls

  • Ask your child to call out the colors as they pick them up

  • Have your child count how many leaves are in each bowl once they’re sorted

We hope you have fun sorting through your leaves. See you next week for the next fall #TouchItTuesday
